Description
This is a Mk6 ballistic helmet that was used in the British Military. The helmet includes built in pads and an adjustable chin strap. The helmet is of different design that US Military helmets and offers basic protection. This helmet has design has been in use by the British since the early 1990’s and was replaced a handful of years ago. These are great budget helmets for reenacting or general wear. They are not compatible with most US helmet accessories, like NVG baseplates. The standard Combat Helmet of the British Armed Forces from 1985 to 2009. Also seen in use during NATO training exercises and U.N. peacekeeping missions. Designed for the modern battlefield with plenty of room for ear protection, personal radio, or respirator during chemical defense training.
We do not recommend using these for real life ballistic protection due to overall age of helmets, production dates of these helmets extends back to 1990.
